USD116 Educator and Licensed Professional Informational Sessions
Urbana school district 116
Hello Emerging Educators and Licensed Professionals,
This is an uncertain time in our country with the COVID-19 pandemic that has had a significant impact on the education system. The past few weeks has been a transition period for colleges/universities, and K-12 schools. While there remains uncertainty about how the 2019-2020 school year will conclude, we are certain about our desire for you to consider joining Urbana School District 116 for the 2020-2021 school year.
Although we can not predict the future, we are hopeful that our government officials and health care providers will find solutions to control this pandemic soon, enabling us to start the 2020-2021 school year in our buildings. From this position of optimism, our building principals are in the process of reviewing resumes and planning for virtual interviews in the coming days and weeks to fill positions for the 2020-2021 school year.
We are sorry if we did not have the opportunity to meet you in person, due to the cancellation of many education fairs for precautionary measures against the coronavirus. However, we will be conducting virtual information sessions for you to have an opportunity to interface with USD116 administrators on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Tuesday April 7, 2020. Please click below to sign up for a time slot.
We invite you to take a look at our Teach Urbana resource folder, as well as our district's
website and
employment opportunities page to apply for vacant and future positions.
